Client Policies
Scope of Services
I specialize in creating functional, intentional, and maintainable organizational systems for homes, businesses, and small spaces. All projects begin with a consultation to determine fit, project scope, safety, and my availability.
Service Area
To ensure I can provide consistent, high-quality service, I primarily take clients within a 30 minute drive from my home base. Projects outside this radius may be accepted on a case-by-case basis and will include an additional travel fee.
Project Conditions
Every home is unique, and I understand that cluttered environments happen for many different reasons. I happily work in a wide range of environments; however, there are circumstances that fall outside my scope of work including, but not limited to, the following:
- Homes with active safety hazards, including aggressive pets, significant pest infestations, biohazards, or conditions that would make the space unsafe to work in.
- Situations requiring specialized cleanup, such as mold remediation, heavy waste removal, or structural issues.
If any unsafe or unworkable conditions are identified during or before a project, I reserve the right to pause or decline services until it is safe to proceed.
Hoarding Situations
I am committed to being supportive and respectful of everyone I work with. In cases where it appears to me that a hoarding disorder may be present, projects are considered case by case. I am able to work alongside clients who are:
- Actively engaged in therapy or support for hoarding behavior
- Ready for hands-on decision-making and collaboration
- Committed to a gradual, sustainable process
If the situation requires clinical or specialized intervention beyond my role as an organizer, I will withdrawal myself from the job.
Availability
My availability varies based on my schedule and the size of each project. Because every space is unique, different projects require different amounts of time. This means I may be available for one client but unable to take on another at the same moment. I do my best to communicate timelines clearly so you know what to expect before we begin.
Right to Decline Projects
If a project falls outside my professional scope or cannot be completed safely, ethically, or effectively, I may respectfully decline or recommend alternative resources that better meet the client’s needs. In this case, I may refer a client to another organizer who may be a better fit for the client.
